On January 26th, local band VOID rocked the roof off the community hall when they performed songs from their upcoming CD. A lively and enthusiastic audience thoroughly enjoyed the show, and local videographer Jason Ross shot footage. The band hopes the local audience becomes part of the thousands who are following them on their journey into the VOID. They travel to Vancouver this spring for a week of intense studio sessions to record their first CD. You can follow VOID on their Facebook page.
Troy Gilmore, lead singer of VOID lost his shirt about 90 minutes into the concert held at the Rec Centre. Much to the delight of young ladies in the audience. In a very heated performance, Troy worked the crowd into a frenzy.
People were singing and dancing along to music never before played in public. Down to Earth Health Shop sponsored the show in part. At left, Fort St. John band Alister Stone opened for VOID.
