Investigators from the Northern Rockies RCMP continue to investigate a suspicious fire that completely destroyed the Robins Donuts 2-4-1 Pizza in Fort Nelson early Tuesday Morning.

Due to the extent of damage caused by the fire, the scene remains secure by police until plans can be made for a full fire scene examination
, says Staff Sergeant Steve McLeod, Northern Rockies RCMP detachment commander. This is expected to take several days before investigators can enter the property and begin their examination.
A fire scene exam is a lengthy and detailed process by a specialized investigator who will collect evidence from the scene to determine how the fire started – in may take some time before we are able to determine the exact cause of the fire
, explains Staff Sergeant McLeod.
At this time, this appears to be an isolated incident and I do not believe the public is at risk
.
No further information to be released at this time.
