Northern Rockies Elections 2014
Nominations closed on Friday October 10, 2014 for the municipal and school board elections.
Candidates for mayor are: Kim Christine Eglinski, who has served on Council from 2011 – 2014, incumbent (Bill) William Streeper, six years as mayor.
There are six positions for councillor of the Northern Rookies Regional Municipality.
Eight people are competing: candidates are standing Laurie Dolan, Doug McKee, Todd Osbourne, and Danny Soles all incumbents.
Four newcomers include Kyle Andrews, Nathan Bauder, Lorraine Gerwing, and Skip Hall.
Six people have signed up for five spots on School District 81. They include four incumbents, Eric Ashdown, Linda Dolen, Mike Gilbert, and Doug Tofte.
Two newcomers include Bill Dolan and Yvette Taylor.
The Fort Nelson News will publish the platforms of the candidates in the November 12 issue.
