April Oil and Gas lease sales earned $40.615 million for the province
The sale of Natural Gas Crown Petroleum Rights held on April 25th, 2013 earned the province $40,615,482. The sale comprised of 11 drilling licences totalling 5,591 hectares (average price $3,481 per ha) and 9 leases totally 13,728 hectares (average price $12,279 per ha). Tender bonuses total $40.504 million. Top prices were paid by Plunket Resources Ltd $15,510,450. and O & G Resources Group $16,961,854.
The next sale will be on May 29th, 2013.
