Encana remains committed to realising the value of its resources in Horn River Basin
As announced December 24th, 2012, Encana agreed to sell its 30 per cent interest in the proposed Kitimat liquefied natural gas export terminal, and its associated infrastructure, to Chevron Canada Limited. Also included in the sale to Chevron was approximately 32,500 acres of undeveloped land in the Horn River Basin, which represents a small portion of Encana’s overall land holdings in the area. “Encana remains committed to realising the value of its resources in the Horn River Basin,” Doug McIntyre wrote by way of clarification to the various press releases announcing this sale.
