11 charges laid in the death of two local teens
Joshua Locke, of Burnaby, has been charged with 11 counts following the accident that took the lives of two Fort Nelson teenagers on June 9th, 2010. The accident happened on the Old Alaska Highway at Parker Creek. Courtney Siegmund, 16, and Chelsea Cook, 15, were killed in the accident. Another 16-year-old girl was injured in the same accident.
Locke was charged with: two charges of criminal negligence causing death; two charges of impaired driving causing death; two charges of causing an accident resulting in death; one charge of criminal negligence causing bodily harm; one charge of impaired driving causing bodily harm; one charge of causing an accident resulting in bodily harm; one charge of breaching an undertaking or recognizance; and one charge of possession of a controlled substance.
