Congratulations to James Gilbert who was awarded the Augustana [UofA] Student Award for Library Research for 2011-12. The award is open to all students in all years of undergraduate study. He’s the first student to win it in the first year of a program [while taking a third year Québec History course]. He’s continuing on in a double major [History/Political Science] with a view to entering the field of Human Rights and Labour Law, and worked as a researcher for the NRRM over the past summer.
James attended Fort Nelson Schools and is the son of Mike and Lori Gilbert.
