Songs of Praise!

Songs of praise, songs of joy echoed through the Phoenix Theatre on Sunday when the Ministerial Association’s Celebration of the Birth of Our Lord “Joy, Love, Hope, Wonder” was performed by the Fort Nelson Ministerial Choir and children from the congregations. This is a much anticipated part of Christmas in Fort Nelson. Once again we were transported for a moment, from the hurly-burly of preparations, parties and gift buying, to pause and rejoice on the true meaning of the event. Choir director, Sue Hay, braved the elements to travel from her teaching job at Toad River for many weekends in November and December as she prepared her singers to bring forth this gift to the community.
