Shy-Anne wins the Moonlight Madness gift certificates

Moonlight Madness was a huge success with record numbers of shoppers and fabulous Christmas specials provided by our retailers. Moonlight Madness is an annual event sponsored by the Fort Nelson and District Chamber of Commerce, the Fort Nelson News, and Astral Media’s Energy 102.3 The Bear.

Originally the event was held to promote the Landmark Plaza stores and it was a joint promotion between the newspaper and the radio station.
Today the event is participated in by most of the retail businesses in town with residents of Fort Liard, Watson Lake, and as far away as Whitehorse travelling to take advantage of the discounts and bargains offered.
