Elene Dolan
Awarded a
Master of Science Degree
On November 21st, 2012, Elene Dolan was awarded a Master of Science Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
After graduating from Fort Nelson Secondary School in 2002, Elene earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Psychology at the University of British Columbia’s Kelowna Campus in 2008.
Elene has travelled extensively through Asia, Australia, and Western Europe, and worked for several years as a residential support provider for adults with developmental disabilities.
In 2010, Elene moved to Edmonton to pursue further studies in healthcare or related fields, choosing speech and language as her area of focus.
This centennial convocation day was made more memorable for the Dolan family as Elene’s cousin Erin Jessup, daughter of Kathy (Dolan) Jessup, also received a Masters Degree, in Anthropology, from the U of A. 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of The University of Alberta.
