Obituary – Mary Jane “Jean” Shippitt, 88

Died September 22nd, 2011

Jean passed away peacefully on September 22nd, 2011, at the age of 88 years. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children; Charles (Sandra) Sutherland of Barrhead, AB, Dawn (Roy) Erlendson of Penticton, BC, Judy Lynn (Perry) Lavelle of Calgary, AB, Mark Shippit of Calgary, AB, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, brother, Earl (Lois) MacLeod, of Toronto, Ont, sisters; Carmen MacKinnon of Borden, PEI and Harriet Gilpatrick of Greenwood, Maine. Sadly predeceased by her husband, William Shippit. Known by Jean or Jeanie to her loving family she had a great sense of humour and touched the lives of those she met. She was a hard worker, a wonderful cook and she deeply loved her children and grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
