Obituary – Bernice Allen, 70

November 19th, 1938 – September 12th, 2009

Bernice was born in Channel, Nfld. on Nov. 19, 1938. She married Roger Allen on November 16, 1955. In 1973 they moved to Fort Nelson with their 4 children. Bernice worked at a few places in Fort Nelson, but worked for the last 15 years at Style Rite. When her husband passed away in 1998, Bernice moved into Grace Manor and made many new friends. In November 2008 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and fought the disease for 10 months. She passed away in the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria on Sept. 12, 2009. She is survived by her 4 children Wade (Carol) Allen, Donna (Bill) McLeod, Roger (Pam) Allen and Bert Allen, her 11 grandchildren, Pam, Dawn, Brianna, Brittany, Hannah, Cassandra, Miriam, Aaron, Justice, Kristen, and Calib. Her Great Grandson, Devin Matthew Price and her sisters Audrey Knott and Vi Taylor.
