Officers arrived on scene to find that two pick-up trucks had collided head on and the drivers of each vehicle were deceased at the scene. (an 18 year old Wonowon man and a 31 year old Ft St John man – names are not being released at this time)The highway was closed in both directions from the time of the crash until 3:00 a.m.(February 4, 2015), but a detour was in place at the time.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation at this time and the Peace Region Traffic Services (Ft St John) is asking anyone who may have been a witness prior to/or the crash itself, to please call police at 250-787-8140.
